The Assunta Secondary School Art Gallery was packed out on 22nd November for the celebration of our 10 year anniversary. The afternoon was a huge success with well over 200 people – past and present students, teachers, and friends of the Trust – attending.

The event included speeches from Sister Enda, the founder of the Assunta school, Martin Jacques, the chair of the HVT, and the headteachers of the Assunta schools. These were followed by entertainment from Assunta alumni and current students: dancing, singing and comedy from Phoon Chi Ho.

Our thanks to Jonathan Soo for putting together a wonderful slideshow of the afternoon:

Full videos of the speeches can be found below, as well as a gallery with pictures from the event.

Thank You...

“Firstly, I like thank the HVT programme. They have helped my family by giving me uniforms, school shoes, meals on a daily basis during recess and revision books to study. The tuition has helped me improve my writing skills and I am better at my school work. I would also like to thank the teachers for teaching me how to be successful in school.”
