Malaysian Café Evening a Resounding Success!
Our Malaysian Café Evening held on December 6th was a great success. There were over 70 present and somehow everyone managed to pack into the EC2 Noodle Express in Clerkenwell, London. The atmosphere was marvellous. Nick and his team at the restaurant served up some splendid Malaysian food. Tracy Brabin organised some great entertainment on a shoe string, and the tombola and raffle organised by Frances Swaine raised plenty of money.
The bottom line? We made a profit of over £1200 and four people signed up as new sponsors.
The overwhelming view is that we should do it again in 2015. Given how successful – and fun – this one was, please keep an eye on the website in the autumn and book early to ensure your place!
